This notice explains how MOprintability3D Co Ltd, trading through MO3DP, handles personal information relating to our website, product sales and print-on-demand services.

Who is responsible for your information?

MOprintability3D Co Ltd is the controller of personal information used for these activities. Our address is Unit A3, Industria Business Park II, Industrial Zone, Geoffrey Road, 90104 Bambous, Mauritius. BRN: C25220749. VAT: 28390655. For privacy questions or requests, email support@mo3dp.com or write to us at this address.

Information we collect

  • Account and contact information: your name, email, telephone number, account details and correspondence.
  • Orders and deliveries: billing and delivery addresses, products, print specifications, order history, invoices, payment status and transaction references.
  • Print files and quotations: STL files you upload, filenames, geometry, dimensions, material and finish choices, quantities, quotation results, estimated production times and delivery estimates. Files and filenames may contain personal or confidential information.
  • Technical information: IP addresses, browser and device information, security and error logs, and cookies used for accounts, carts and checkout.

Provide only information needed for your request. Remove unnecessary personal identifiers from files and filenames. Do not upload sensitive personal information, such as medical or biometric scans, without first contacting us to agree an appropriate process.

How and why we use information

We use information to prepare quotations, assess printability, take payment, manufacture and deliver orders, provide support, handle returns and protect our services. These activities generally support a contract or steps you request before entering a contract. We also retain records where required by law and use proportionate security and fraud-prevention measures for our legitimate interests, taking account of your rights. Where processing requires consent, including applicable optional marketing, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

STL files and automated estimates

Where instant quotation is available, software analyses your uploaded model and selected settings to estimate manufacturing requirements, price and delivery timing. Estimates depend on file quality, dimensions, material, quantity and production capacity; they do not certify a model’s engineering or safety. You can contact us to question an estimate or request a human review before confirming an order.

You retain ownership of your designs. We use uploaded files to assess, quote, manufacture, check and support your order, and to address related disputes or legal obligations. Uploading a file does not give us permission to publish it, resell the design or use it in our marketing. Any such additional use requires separate permission.

Service providers and disclosures

Relevant information may be handled by providers supporting hosting and storage, quotation or production, payments, delivery, email, accounting and security. Our website is hosted through PlanetHoster. Payment providers process the payment details required by the payment method you choose; we receive transaction information needed to manage your order. Do not send card numbers or security codes by email or include them in an STL file.

We share information needed to perform these services, meet legal obligations, respond to lawful requests or resolve disputes. We do not sell customer personal information. Suppliers and infrastructure may be outside Mauritius, including hosting infrastructure in Europe. Transfers must be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements; contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your order.

Cookies and third-party content

WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies or similar technologies for login, security, shopping carts and checkout. Blocking these in your browser may prevent those features from working. Embedded third-party content or payment services can process information under their own notices. Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, if introduced, require appropriate disclosures and any consent required by law; this notice alone does not constitute your consent.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as needed for its purpose, considering order fulfilment, support, repeat-print requests, disputes and applicable accounting or legal duties. Uploads are not a permanent file-storage service: keep your own copy. You may request deletion of an uploaded file or account information; we will explain any records that must remain and why. Copies in backups may remain until the relevant backup cycle expires.

Access and security measures must be proportionate to the information and risks involved. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you suspect misuse of your account or files, contact us promptly.

Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your information, object to relevant processing, withdraw consent and seek review of decisions made solely by automated means where applicable. Email support@mo3dp.com with your request. We may reasonably verify your identity and will explain any lawful limitations. You may also raise a complaint with the Mauritius Data Protection Office.

We will update this page when our practices change and identify the revision date above. Material changes will be brought to your attention where appropriate.
